State Transportation Cabinet employee arrested

GLASGOW — The public information officer for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s District 3 office in Bowling Green was arrested on felony charges after a one-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Keirsten Jaggers, 47, of Smiths Grove, was traveling on Fairview-Boiling Springs Road in Warren County when she failed to negotiate a left-hand turn at Boiling Springs Road, according to a Kentucky State Police Post 3 press release based on the report of KSP Trooper Shae Foley, who responded to the collision. Jaggers then struck an earth embankment and came to final rest against a residence located in that vicinity, according to the press release.

Jaggers was charged with criminal mischief, first degree; wanton endangerment, first degree (two counts); first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense; prescription drug not in proper container; and reckless driving; DUI, first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the KSP statement. The first three of the charges are felonies.
