9:27 MORNING UPDATE: One injured in Cave City crash

GLASGOW — Cave City police investigated the scene of a two-vehicle collision Monday on US 31W. 


The wreck occurred around 3:40 p.m. when Marris Taylor of Glasgow, who was driving a 1987 Chevy S-10 pickup, turned into the path of Brandon Legrand of Bowling Green. Legrand was driving a 2007 Ford wrecker, according to a Cave City Police Department press release. 

Taylor was transported by the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Service to T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow for treatment, the release stated. 

Cave City police officer Darrell Butler investigated the wreck scene. He was assisted at the scene by firefighters with the Cave City Volunteer Fire Department.
