Christmas parade will return to previous route

‘Kids’ theme chosen

GLASGOW —

The annual Christmas parade will return to Columbia Avenue and follow the traditional route through downtown Glasgow, instead of following the path it has taken over the past two years.

The parade, which will be on Dec. 7, will start at Glasgow High School as it has in years past, but one change has been made to the route.

Instead of traveling up hill on Columbia Avenue to make a right turn onto East Main Street, the parade will turn right at the intersection of Columbia Avenue and East Front Street.
