Charles A. Rose, 49, of Burkesville, died in a single-vehicle wreck on Saturday.

While Rose was traveling east on Burkesville Road, he lost control of his 1999 Ford truck. He drifted off the wet road and crashed into a utility pole.

Rose was freed from the truck by the jaws of life.

He was taken to TJ Samson Hospital and was pronounced dead by Barren County Coroner Mike Swift.

The crash is under investigation by the BCSO.

It is believed that alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the wreck, according to the press release.gt
