Blues/rock band Toad Strangler releases CD

GLASGOW — Tomorrow is a big day for local blues/rock band Toad Strangler.

The band will be releasing its CD, “Live in the Rain,” on VGroove Records.

“We’re excited,” said Andrea Tanaro, lead singer for the group, who also works as a deputy sheriff for the Hart County Sheriff’s Department.

One of the tracks featured on the CD is a cover tune by Led Zeppelin titled, “Misty Mountain Hop.”
