Public Works superintendent gives list of road projects to committee

Budget preparation time is also a time for lists, and one of those being composed and then tweaked contains the names of the Glasgow streets that could use some patching or paving work.

Department of Public Works Superintendent Kurt Frey has prepared such a list, which he distributed to the members of the Glasgow City Council’s Infrastructure Committee at its regular meeting Monday, but he knows it almost certainly will have to be shortened before the city’s budget for the fiscal year ending in 2014 is completed.

In no particular order, the list includes Georgetown Lane, Steeplechase, Winners Circle, Glenview Drive, Mallory Drive, Cavalry Drive, Ivy Street, Grinstead Court and Rogers Road, although it may not be the entire length of a street that would be addressed.
