The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to three injury collisions Tuesday morning.

In one, Justin Woodfin, 28, of Glasgow, stated that he was traveling on Tompkinsville Road and was attempting to make a left turn onto Peden Cemetery Road, when a vehicle struck his 2002 Mitsubishi Gallant in the rear end, according to a BCSO statement.

The second vehicle, a 2005 Mitsubishi Gallant was driven by a 17-year-old female juvenile also of Glasgow, who stated that by time she saw Woodfin’s vehicle turning, she could not get stopped on the slick roadway, according to the statement.

The juvenile and Woodfin were transported by Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Service for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the wreck. Deputy Mike Houchens investigated the accident and was assisted by the Temple Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
