And Karoline makes 5

Couple fosters then adopts children

GLASGOW — Editor’s Note: The month of November is National Adoption Month.

Two-year-old Karoline Wilson played with a bouquet of pink and black balloons Tuesday morning, waiting with her soon-to-be adoptive parents in the first floor lobby of the Barren County Courthouse for family court to start.

Tuesday was Karoline’s Gotcha Day — the day she was adopted by Stacey and Samantha Wilson. It was a day the Wilsons had been anxiously awaiting.

It wasn’t long before they were allowed to enter the courtroom and the proceeding got under way.
