6:15 SATURDAY OBITUARY UPDATE: Martha S. Wells - Glasgow

GLASGOW — Martha S. Wells, 85, of Glasgow, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Barren County Health Care Facility. Born in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Nellie Mitchell Stengel and wife of the late William C. Wells.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Depp, of Vero Beach, Fla.; two sons, Michael R. Howerton, of Glasgow, and John Glen Howerton Sr., of Louisville; three grandchildren, John Glen Howerton Jr., Christopher B. Howerton, and Ashley Jones; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Stengel; and a sister, Mary Lovett Lindsay.

Mrs. Wells chose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
