Before and After

GLASGOW — This house on North Green Street is no more. The structure was demolished Tuesday and the site was being cleared on Wednesday. The City of Glasgow purchased the property with the intent of using it for parking, but no timeline has been set for when that will be done. Department of Public Works Superintendent Kurt Frey said that a concrete barrier is planned along the northern section of the lot to protect the spring in the area, but before anything else is constructed, the lot would need to be filled and brought up to the same height as some of the neighboring properties.
