Council sets Wednesday tax meeting


Cave City city council members will meet in special session Wednesday to consider the second reading of an ordinance regarding compensation for hotel and restaurant tax collection.

The ordinance states $650 shall be placed in the city’s general fund each month as compensation for tax collection.

The city council is meeting in special session at 5 p.m. Wednesday to take up the matter because, “We just want to take care of it. It’s just routine business,” Mayor Dwayne Hatcher said.
