Man injured when bike strikes truck

GLASGOW —

A man who had been on a bicycle was treated at T.J. Samson Community Hospital and released after the bike collided with a pickup truck at approximately 11:42 a.m. Monday.

Robert Fleming, 41, of Glasgow told police he was riding on a sidewalk southbound along U.S. 31-E bypass near Vance Lawn & Garden Center on his bike and had looked over his left shoulder to see oncoming traffic and didn’t see anything so he attempted to cross the highway, according to a Glasgow Police Department report.
