EVENING UPDATE: Arraignment of sheriff, deputies rescheduled

GLASGOW — The arraignment proceedings for Barren County Sheriff Chris Eaton and four of his deputies have been moved back a month.

The arraignment for Eaton, Aaron Bennett, Adam Minor, Bobby McCown and Eric Guffey, in the United States District Court of the Western District of Kentucky in Bowling Green is now scheduled for March 28, according to the federal court docket.

Officials at the court clerk's office did not give a reason as to why the change had been made. Eaton's lawyer, Guthrie True, was not certain of the reason, but said it could possibly have been scheduling conflicts for the prosecutors in Washington, D.C.
