BCSO responds to fatal motorcycle wreck

GLASGOW — A Barren County man died at the scene after his motorcyle crashed along Bon Ayr Road, or Ky. 255, on Friday afternoon, according to a Barren County Sheriff's Office press release on Saturday.

Edward Davidson, 67, of Glasgow was traveling north when his 2000 Harley Davidson left the right side of the roadway while negotiating a curve; once off the roadway, the bike slid several feet before coming to a stop in a yard, just off of the roadway, according to the press release.

Davidson was pronounced dead at the scene by a member of the Barren County coroner’s office. Davidson was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

BCSO Deputies Mike Houchens and Kevin Wilson are investigating the accident; they were assisted at the scene by the South Barren Volunteer Fire Department and Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
