GLASGOW — A local dispatcher was issued a written reprimand and suspended without pay for three days earlier this month for an incident in which she is said to have provided license plate information inappropriately to Barren County Jailer Matt Mutter, according to documents obtained by the Glasgow Daily Times.

Laura L. Williams used the resources at the Barren-Metcalfe County Emergency Communication Center to find out to whom a vehicle was registered based on license plate information provided to her by Mutter, and he had requested the information via a message on her personal cell phone, according to an Employee Disciplinary Notice of March 11. The vehicle in question came back as registered to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
