Kentucky State Police activity in Edmonson County leads to arrests

GLASGOW — Kentucky State Police recently handed out an indictment and made an arrest in Edmonson County.

Charles Pinkerton III, 23, of Antioch, Tenn., was arrested Wednesday by KSP Post 3 Trooper Brett Coomes and charged with speeding 19 mph over the speed limit; driving under the influence, first offense; possession of marijuana; drug paraphernalia buy/possess; first-degree promoting contraband; tampering with physical evidence; first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense, opiates; and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, drug unspecified, the release said.

According to the release, $24,000 was taken as part of the investigation, which is still ongoing.

He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail, the release said.

Man arrested on meth charges

Michael J. McGrew, 34, of Brownsville, was served an Edmonson County grand jury indictment by KSP Trooper Jonathan McChesney for manufacturing methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance, first offense; unlawful possession of a meth precursor; and persistent felony offender, according to a news release.

McGrew was lodged in the Warren County Jail, the release said. The release didn’t specify the type or amount of bond he is or was being held on.


Missing man sought

KSP is looking for a missing man who was last seen May 5, 2011, in Edmonson County, according to a news release. The report was received on May 16, 2011.

The last reported sighting of Michael L. Vincent, 39, was near the area of 1156 Oak Grove Road in Brownsville, the release said.

He was wearing jeans, no shirt, unknown type shoes and a gold earring in his left ear, according to the release. The release said he has a grim reaper tattoo on his right shoulder and a dragon tattoo on his back.

KSP urges individuals who have any information on the disappearance of Michael Vincent to call KSP at 270-782-2010 or 1-800-222-5555.
