3:10 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Elizabethtown man arrested in Hart County

MUNFORDVILLE — An Elizabethtown man was arrested Monday in Hart County on a LaRue County indictment warrant for 10 drug-related charges, according to a press release from the Hart County Sheriff's Office.

Louie F. Corey, 55, of 2149 Middle Creek Road, Elizabethtown, was indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; complicity to manufacturing meth, first offense; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), first offense; first-degree complicity to possession of a controlled substance (meth), first offense; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (not specified), first offense; first-degree complicity to possession of a controlled substance (not specified), first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; complicity to possession of drug paraphernalia; prescription controlled substance not in proper container, first offense; and complicity to prescription controlled substance not in proper container, first offense.

Hart County deputy Heather Childress made the arrest at the Hart County Judicial Center and Corey was lodged in Hart County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.

On Friday, a Cave City man was arrested in Hardyville and charged with trafficking under 8 ounces of marijuana.

Robert Lincoln Myers III, 26, of 2030 D. Marina Court, Cave City, was arrested along with Derek Gregory Vincent, 25, of 3925 Rex Road in Hardyville after Hart County deputies Jeff Wilson, Paul Reynolds and Joey Cox responded to a drug activity complaint at the Hardyville residence.

Myers was charged with trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces, first offense, enhanced due to a firearm, and tampering with physical evidence. Myers was also served with three bench warrants for nine counts of theft by deception (cold checks under $500), according to a press release from the sheriff's office. He was lodged in Hart County Jail on an $11,000 cash bond.

Vincent was charged with marijuana trafficking under 8 ounces, enhanced with a firearm, and tampering with physical evidence. He was lodged in Hart County Jail with a $9,500 unsecured bond.
