8:26 MORNING UPDATE: One injured in Clinton Co. wreck

ALBANY — Kentucky State Police Trooper David Long is investigating a collision that occurred  1:40 p.m. Saturday, seven miles south of Albany on KY 968. 

James Beaty, 24,  was traveling west on KY 968, operating a 2001 Chevy truck, when  the vehicle dropped off  the shoulder of  the roadway. Beaty was unable to regain control.  The truck left the roadway, struck a rock embankment and overturned, according to a state police press release. 

Beaty was unbelted and was transported to Clinton County Hospital where he was treated and released. 

A passenger, 16-year-old William Nathaniel Lane Willis, of Albany, was belted and  not injured, the press release stated.
