Work is well under way on a new building at the corner of South Lewis and Cheatham streets that will be home to the Housing Authority of Glasgow’s new Family Self-Sufficiency Center.
Construction of the center, which consists of 20,700 square feet and includes two gymnasiums, began March 1 and is expected to be completed by October.
A wide range of programs promoting self-sufficiency will be offered at the center for families living in properties maintained by the housing authority.
