A Glasgow man was arrested Tuesday on drug and related charges.
Alex L. Baker, 22, charged with public intoxication (controlled substance excluding alcohol), possession of marijuana and buy/possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a Glasgow Police Department report.
Police responded to 120-A Quail Ridge in reference to Baker allegedly beating on the door and windows and trying to get inside the house.
Upon their arrival, police officers went to the back door and found Baker, who was not complaint at first and was detained for safety.
Police patted Baker down and in doing so Sgt. Charlie Eubank found a pair of broken scissors in Baker's shirt pocket, along with a box of cigarettes. Inside the box was one larger and one smaller than the others that were suspected to be marijuana cigarettes, plus a bag containing suspected marijuana and a pack of cigarette rolling papers, the report stated.
Officer Jason Ford said when he looked into Baker's eyes he noticed his pupils were extremely dilated and when asked whether he had smoked any marijuana, he told police had done so right before their arrival, the report stated.
Baker was transported to the Barren County Detention Center, the report stated.
