One person was injured in a car crash that occurred three miles south of Glasgow on Beechtree Lane.
The wreck happened when James B. Johnson, 21, of Glasgow, who was traveling east, lost control of the 2000 Ford Mustang he was driving due to slippery conditions. The car hydroplaned, causing the rear end of the car to spin around, leave the left shoulder of the road backwards and strike a tree, according to a Barren County Sheriff's Office report.
The car sustained damage to the passengers side rear corner, the report stated.
Charlotte W. Goldsmith, 41, of Glasgow, cmpalined of neck and back pain and was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for medical treatment. She was treated and released from the hospital, according to Bart Logsdon, hospital spokesman.
