4:27 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Jenkins named Barren County schools' Director of Transportation

GLASGOW — Barren County Superintendent Bo Matthews announced in a press conference Thursday afternoon that Chip Jenkins will be the new Director of Transportation for Barren County schools effective Dec. 10. Jenkins currently serves as a transportation manager in the Warren County School System, and has been part of that transportation department since 2003. Charlie Campbell, interim transportation director for Barren County, will stay with the department until the end of the semester, in order to help Jenkins with his transition.
