Former Glasgow man convicted of sex crimes


A Barren County jury convicted a man formerly of Glasgow on multiple sex crime charges Tuesday, but could not reach a unanimous decision on how he should be sentenced.

Jose Lopez, 42, of West Babylon, N.Y., was charged with first-degree rape, incest with someone under 18, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor under 18, and first-degree sexual abuse related to incidents that occurred over the course of three to four years with a female juvenile family member.
