4:30 AFTERNOON UPDATE: 2 arrested for cattle theft

GLASGOW — Two people have been arrested in connection with the theft of cattle from Farmer's Livestock Market on Tuesday morning.

Byron Caldwell, 26, of Edmonton, and Nathaniel Johnson,19, of Columbia, were arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking-livestock.

They were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.

Barren County Sheriff's Office led the investigation and the two were arrested in Metcalfe County with assistance from the Metcalfe Sheriff’s Office, Edmonton Police Department and Adair County Sheriff’s Office.
