12:36 p.m. AFTERNOON UPDATE: One injured in Park City crash

PARK CITY —

A Cave City man was injured in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred on Tuesday morning on the Mammoth Cave Parkway in Park City.

Charles Clines, 67, was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital by the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

According to a Barren County Sheriff's Office press release, the wreck occurred when Clines, who was traveling west on Mammoth Cave Parkway in a 1988 Mazda pickup when a 2009 Freightliner driven by Donnie L. Smith, of Glasgow, pulled in from the Shell gas station parking lot in front of him.

Clines was transferred from T.J. Samson Community Hospital to the Medical Center at Bowling Green, according to a T.J. Samson Community Hospital spokesperson. Clines has since been discharged from the Medical Center, according to a Medical Center spokesperson.

Smith was not injured, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputy Dave Houchens investigated the wreck and was assisted by Deputy Kevin Wilson, the Park City Volunteer Fire Department and Tony Richey with Glasgow-Barren County Emergency Management.
