GLASGOW — A 4-year-old girl was injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.

Julie P. Williams, 4, was ejected from a 1995 Jeep Wrangler after Jeffrey L. Williams, 40, of Glasgow, lost control on Tompkinsville Road due to slippery road conditions, according to a press release from the Barren County Sheriff's Office.

The vehicle left the road and struck a fence at approximately 4:55 p.m. Saturday.

The child was transported to T.J Samson Community Hospital for treatment, then was taken by ambulance to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.
