GLASGOW — At 5:05 p.m. Friday, Kentucky State Police Post 3 responded to a welfare check of a four-month-old child at 861 N. West Street in Munfordville.

According to Trooper Graham Rutherford, the father of the child, Casey Rice, 25, of Munfordville, had not returned his child back to the mother. While on scene at 861 N. Rice was arrested for wanton endangerment, first Degree; DUI, first (aggravator); rear license plate not illuminated.

Rice was lodged in the Hart County Jail. The child was safely returned to its mother.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Trooper Graham Rutherford. He was assisted by Deputy Joey Cox with the Hart County Sheriff’s Office.
