GCA preschool receives 3-star rating

GLASGOW — The Glasgow Christian Academy Wee Warriors Preschool program recently received a three out of four star rating from the STARS for KIDS NOW, Kentucky’s voluntary quality rating system for type I and type II licensed child care centers and certified family care homes.

All levels of the STARS for KIDS program surpass the minimum certification and/or licensing requirements that all child care facilities must meet. Out of 24 participating child care programs in Barren County, the Glasgow Christian Academy is the only to receive a three star rating.

“We are really excited,” said Tracy Shaw, principal of the Glasgow Christian Academy. “I know our facility is top notch but this just adds credibility to our program.”
