BUTTON ART

GLASGOW — Lucy Richardson, a second-grader in Martha Harpe's class at South Green Elementary applies glue to a button so it can be adhered to a piece of paper. She and her classmates made pictures using buttons, which came from what was once the Kentucky Pants Factory on Water Street. The building is now home to the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center. Patty Hughes, a volunteer at the museum, directed the students in making their button pictures Wednesay morning.
