11:45 MORNING UPDATE: BCSO investigates shooting

GLASGOW — The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred early Monday morning on Lecta-Kino Road.

The shooting happened during an apparent burglary attempt at a residence. One suspect was taken to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound sustained during the incident.

The investigation is ongoing. Names of those involved have not been released pending the outcome of the investigation, according to BCSO Public Information Deputy Mike Houchens.
