Tiny cursive scrawl in a black pocket diary still holds the thoughts of Walter Earl Kinslow during his three years as a soldier in World War II, just as clearly as it did 70 years ago.
From milk shakes in Munich to treating D-Day casualties in Wales, Kinslow’s diary follows the journey of a high school farm boy as he becomes a wartime nurse in field hospitals abroad.
