Man arrested on felony charges

GLASGOW — The Glasgow Police Department made a recent felony arrest.

Dwight Asher, 38, of Smiths Grove, was arrested Saturday on Stallion Way by GPD Officer Steven Shields and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, motor vehicle; two counts of fleeing or evading police, on foot; second-degree wanton endangerment, police officer; first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense, drug unspecified; drug paraphernalia buy/possess; driving on DUI suspended license, first offense; and operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., aggravated circumstances, second offense, according to the citation.

On Monday evening, Asher remained lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $6,000 surety bond, according to the jail website.
