GLASGOW — On Tuesday, July 23,Trooper Jonathan McChesney was dispatched to 4697 Pleasant Hill Road in Hart County to investigate a possible fraudulent use of a credit card complaint. Through the course of the investigation it was determined Justin Dupin, 27, of Upton, was associated with a Nigerian scam that had started through a Craigslist ad. Dupin was arrested and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, theft of identity, as well as theft or receiving a stolen credit/debit card. Dupin was lodged in the Hart County Jail later that day. A search warrant was issued for the residence in which items were seized believed to be associated with the crime.
