5:05 AFTERNOON UPDATE: KSP investigates two shootings, 2 dead in Green County

GREENSBURG — UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Post 15 detectives have determined that the shooting was domestic related and are now working a murder/suicide. Barry Moore, 40, shot and killed his ex-wife, Pamela Moore, 43. The couple was divorced but still living together.

The shooting occurred at a residence owned by 66-year-old Barbara Wright, located just behind the Moore’s residence. Detectives believe that Barry Moore pursued Pamela Moore to the residence where he shot his ex-wife and two other women at the residence. Barbara Wright’s granddaughter, 22-year-old Ashley Wright, was at the residence and was also shot. Barry Moore then turned the weapon on himself and took his own life.

Pamela Moore died at the scene and Barry Moore died later at Green County Hospital. Barbara and Ashley Wright are listed in critical condition at University Hospital in Louisville. Detective Nick Davis is investigating.

At least one person is believed to be dead, but Biven would not speculate whether the deceased was male or female. No other information about either death investigation was available. More details are expected later.
