New Kentucky pictorial book now available

GLASGOW — The Glasgow Daily Times and 11 other Kentucky newspapers are pleased to announce the publication of “This Is Kentucky: Keepsake Images of the Bluegrass State.”

Copies of the full color, 136-page, limited edition collection of photographs about contemporary life in Kentucky are available at the newspaper office, 100 Commerce Drive, or by calling the Daily Times at 270-678-5171.

The book includes a number of photos from the Barren County area.

“We believe this compilation will become a treasured keepsake of the people and places that make life so special in our state,” said Keith Ponder, publisher of the Daily Times.

The book represents a joyful collaboration of the editors and photographers of the 12 Kentucky newspapers owned by Community Newspaper Holdings Inc.

The book includes 10 photographs that were published previously in The Morehead News.

“This Is Kentucky” was produced by Pediment Publishing.
