Scottsville man arrested for drug trafficking

GLASGOW — Detectives with the Barren-Edmonson-Allen County Drug Task Force arrested Randall H. Alexander, 53, of Scottsville, on Thursday, according to a DTF press release.

Alexander had an outstanding drug trafficking indictment warrant that was served in the parking lot of a local restaurant where he was employed. At the time of his arrest, he was found to be in possession of suspected hydrocodone pills and money, which led to new charges of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense; prescription controlled substance not in a proper container; and illegal possession of a legend drug, all according to the press release.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office assisted the task force.

Randell Alexander was lodged in the Allen County Detention Center, according to the press release.
