ID theft arrest made

GLASGOW — Staff reports

BOWLING GREEN – On Sunday, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a complaint of a stolen debit card and the caller stated that it was being used in Barren and Hart counties. While investigating the complaint, Trooper Raymond Chambers identified the suspect as Christopher B. Cover, 22, of Bonnieville.

On Monday, Cover was arrested and charged with identity theft of another person without consent (Class D felony) and fraudulent use of a credit card. Cover was lodged in the Hart County Jail on the above Hart County charges.

On Tuesday, Cover was charged with one count of fraudulent use of a credit card from Barren County and lodged in the Hart County Jail.

Trooper Timmy Jewell assisted in the investigation.
