Educators utilize knowledge to teach others

GLASGOW —

Casi Owens, a teacher at Glasgow Middle School, is accustomed to teaching middle school students English and Language Arts, but this week she’ll be teaching to a different audience.

Owens and two other teachers, Stephanie Smith and Sue Fletcher, represent a piece of the Holocaust Educators Network [HEN]. The three, along with 22 other teachers nationwide, studied the Holocaust, genocide and social injustice at the Memorial Library in New York City in 2009. Owens,
