Richard Madril, who delivered a sometimes-emotional speech about the Battle of Midway and his time on Midway Island.

Madril's comments were among several touching moments during the service, which also included a special presentation to a former prisoner of war and a wreath placement and remembrance ceremony in honor of all prisoners of war and missing in action service members.

The reunion wrapped up in the afternoon with a closing ceremony and concert by the 113th Army Band from Fort Knox on the Glasgow Public Square.
