3:36 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Glasgow Police Department makes multiple felony arrests

GLASGOW — Glasgow Police Department made multiple felony arrests during the past two weeks.

Elizabeth H. Dennis, 25, of Cave City, was arrested Wednesday by GPD officer Nick Houchens and charged with first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense, cocaine; drug paraphernalia buy/possess; possession of marijuana; and endangering the welfare of a minor, according to the GPD citation. A 20-month-old child was at the residence, the citation stated.

Dennis was released from the Barren County Detention Center Wednesday on a $1,500 unsecured bond, according to the jail website.

Kakeeya J. Tooley, 29, of Glasgow, was arrested Tuesday by GPD officer Ashley Jones and charged with operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/ect .08, first offense; first-degree possession of controlled substance, second offense, drug unspecified; and first-degree promoting contraband, according to the GPD citation. Jones found Tooley "passed out asleep" in the driver's seat of a vehicle at the intersection of W. Front Street and Broadway Street, stated the citation.

Tooley was released from the Barren County Detention Center Wednesday on a $2,500 bail credit with cash bond, according to the jail website.

Teresa G. Lewis, 50, of Glasgow, was arrested Saturday by GPD Officer Joseph Ford and charged with second-degree assault, domestic violence, according to the GPD citation.

She was released from the Barren County Detention Center Saturday on a $5,000 surety bond, according to the jail website.

Corey Weckman, 20, of Glasgow, was arrested Nov. 1 by GPD Lt. Jimmy Phelps and charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, according to the GPD citation. The property originally came from a ranch in Oklahoma, stated the citation.

Weckman was released from the Barren County Detention Center Saturday on a $500 unsecured bond.

Jeffrey T. Hughes, 20, of Glasgow, was arrested Oct. 28 by GPD officer Steven Shields and charged with trafficking in marijuana, less than eight ounces, first offense; drug paraphernalia, buy/possess; second-degree possession of controlled substance, hallucinogen; illegal possession of legend drug; possession of marijuana; second-degree possession of controlled substance, drug unspecified; and first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense, drug unspecified.

He was released from the Barren County Detention Center Oct. 29 on a $1,500 unsecured bond, according to the jail website.
