Public hearing on planning development set for Monday

GLASGOW — The Joint City-County Planning Commission of Barren County is beginning the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan for Development for 2014.

The updates are required every five years. The first part of the process involves re-adopting the Goals and Objectives element, and a draft of that document is available at the commission office on the second floor of city hall and on the commission's website – – by clicking the “Public Notice and Announcements” link in the column at left and then clicking on the word “here” that is in blue under the “public meeting” section.
