10:27 MORNING UPDATE: All clear given for Walmart bomb threat

GLASGOW — 10:27 a.m.: The all-clear was given after a search of Walmart, and employees were returning to the store.

KSP Trooper B.J. Eaton and his bomb-detection canine, Glasgow police and fire departments, Barren-Metcalfe County EMS and Barren County Emergency Management were on the scene. 

8:47 a.m.: The Glasgow Police Department is on the scene at Walmart investigating a bomb threat, GPD public affairs officer Julie Anne Williams said.

The Kentucky State Police bomb-detection canine unit is inside the building conducting a search at this time, Williams said.

Motorists are urged to avoid Walmart.

Entrances to the store's parking lot are blocked while police continue their investigation.
