It is not uncommon for Wayne Tamminga to take his dog, Tripp, to work with him.
Tripp hops in the backseat of Tamminga’s truck and off they go.
Tamminga is a wildlife biologist for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. His primary duty is managing habitats at wildlife management areas located along Lake Nolin, Barren River Lake, Rough River and a 2,000 acre patch of land in the Marrowbone community of Cumberland County.
He chose the job because he likes being outdoors.
