Officials look at crossroad fixes

GLASGOW —

Several wrecks within a few months – one claiming the life of a Horse Cave woman – have raised eyebrows along with concerns and nudged city, county and state officials into taking preliminary actions and considering others.

The vicinity of Veterans Outer Loop where Franks Mill Road crosses it has been the site of more than 20 wrecks since that stretch of highway opened less than two years ago, and nine just this year.
