Leading the Way

GLASGOW —

With walkie-talkie in hand,  Emma Sloan, a fourth-grader at South Green Elementary, leads members of the public and other local teachers through a tour of the school. The tour was meant to showcase the impact of their newly implemented Leader in Me program this year. The program is meant to empower students by learning the “Seven Habits of  Happy Kids” and instilling strong leadership skills. South Green Elementary Principal Chad Muhlenkamp said the program has made a difference in the students and changed the entire vibe of the school.
