Frank J. Campbell GLASGOW -- Frank J. Campbell, 94, Glasgow, died June 29, 2013, at his residence. A native of Louisville, he was the son of the late Gladys Sanderson and Frank J. Campbell, Sr. He was a former mechanic at the Ford garage in Leitchfield and a retired mail carrier at the Leitchfield Post Office. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of First Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Survivors include his wife, Mary Mayes Campbell; one son, Michael A. Campbell and his wife Nancy, of New Albany, Ind.; one step-son, Richard Mayes and his wife Eve, of Pocataligo, Ga.; one brother-in-law, Oval Higgs and his wife Beulah, of Millwood; eightgrandchildren; three step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life and mother of his three children, Dorine Higgs Campbell, to whom he was married for 57 years; along with a son, Larry Campbell; and a daughter, Carolyn Mitchell. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home in Leitchfield with burial in Layman Memorial Cemetery at Millwood. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in Glasgow and from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
