10:27 MORNING UPDATE: Hart Co. man arrested on burglary charge

MUNFORDVILLE — A Hart County man was arrested on Oct. 9 on a burglary charge.

Charles R. "Bobby" Calhoun, 24 of 6470 Raider Hollow Road, Munfordville, was charged with second-degree burglary and lodged in the Hart County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 cash bond. 

Calhoun was detained by property owner Daniel Cavanaugh at his 162 Catholic Hill home without the use of any weapon. 

According to the arresting officer, Deputy Lanny Jewell with the Hart County Sheriff's Office, Cavanaugh made Calhoun "sit down on the steps and wait until we got there." 

An investigation into the burglary continues with more arrests expected, according to a Hart County Sheriff's Office press release.
