12:23 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Parkway now open

GLASGOW — Update: The parkway is now open.

The Barren County Sheriff's office estimates a portion of the westbound lane of Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway will be closed for another hour.

Mike Houchens, Public Information Officer for BSCO, said it is around mile marker 9, where they are building a new outer loop. It is in the construction zone.

It is closed because of a non-injury wreck between a semi truck and a car.
