Several arrests made

GLASGOW —



Glasgow police arrested two people Sunday after getting a report of intoxicated persons at a convenience store on Happy Valley Road, according to a Glasgow Police Department report.

Mary A. Lawrence, 54, of Shalimar, Fla., was arrested by GPD Officer Joseph Ford and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, first and second offense; possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (drug unspecified); possession of a controlled substance, second degree (drug unspecified); possession of a controlled substance, third degree (drug unspecified); prescription controlled substance not in proper container, first offense; and promoting contraband, according to a GPD report.

She was released Monday from the Barren County Detention Center on a $2,000 bail credit at 10 percent bond, according to the jail website.

• Johnny Alan Lawrence, 56, of Nashville was arrested by GPD Officer Justin Claywell and charged with alcohol intoxication, first degree, second offense; possession of a controlled substance third degree (drug unspecified); possession of a controlled substance, second degree (drug unspecified); prescription controlled substance not in proper container, first offense, according to a GPD report.

He was released later Sunday from the Barren County Detention Center on a $500 unsecured bond, according to the jail website.

• Kevin W. Taylor, 42, of Glasgow was arrested Saturday by GPD Sgt. Michael Burton and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, etc. 0.08, second offense, aggravated circumstances; fleeing police, second degree, (motor vehicle); fleeing police, second degree (on foot); improper start from parked position; and reckless driving, according to a GPD report.

He was released Sunday from the Barren County Detention Center on a $1,000 surety bond, according to the jail website.
