AFTERNOON UPDATE:Sheriff says work will continue

GLASGOW — In the wake of a federal indictment against Barren County Sheriff Chris Eaton and four of his deputies, Eaton said work will continue at the sheriff's office.

"I was elected to do a job and I'm going to do it," Eaton told the Daily Times on Thursday.

He said he has received numerous calls of support and some upset calls as well since the news broke that he and Aaron Bennett, Adam Minor, Bobby McCown and Eric Guffey were indicted by a federal grand jury in the United States District Court of the Western District of Kentucky in Bowling Green.

For a full follow up to the federal indictments, see Friday's Daily Times, and stay connected the Daily Times website for more updates.
